Dawn - Isla Carmen - 5 November 2009

In the distance, a rooster opens his throat to the sky.

Light spills gently over the soft curves of Isla Carmen, and the morning star slowly fades from view.

Overhead, a heron squawks.  The woosh of wings neraly as loud as his vocalizations. A gull, a pelican .. a splatter of fish.
